Panasonic TC-P55VT30 A Quick Review

A Short Review Of The Panasonic TC-P55VT30

The Panasonic TC-P55VT30 produces excellent picture quality. The 3D effect looks exceptionally real compared to other 3D TV that kind of look artificial. The Panasonic glasses are alright but the company said that they are coming out with new glasses that are even better. The Panasonic 3D has a good graduation of images which really enhances the 3D.

They P55VT30 use infra-red technology to facilitate the 3D effect which is less reliable than alternative methods. This sometimes results in the 3D faltering when the infra-red beam is interrupted when something or someone passes between the beam and the television. The unit though has a feature that other 3D TVs do not have which is converting 2D movies to 3D.

The conversion from 2D to 3D can be adjusted from minimum to maximum 3D effect. Other 3D televisions are not able to convert 2D movies to 3D. With this television, you can enjoy old movies again with better viewing in 3D format.

All these features can be had at a low price. You should consider the extra functions such as the 2D to 3D conversion and adjustable 3D settings. Some stores can even ship your set for free. The unit stands on a spider stand that does not look stable as other TV stands but is stable just like pedestal stands.

Sound quality is pretty good especially if you hook it up on a surround sound system. Picture brightness or darkness is easy to adjust using the picture mode. Try switching from cinema to game mode and see the difference. The image details are very accurate even in 3D mode. It is also clear even after converting 2D movies to 3D.

If you convert your 2D movies to 3D formats, you will suddenly notice background images like small animals and flowers come to life. The texture and colors will become more prominent than before when you watched them on 2D.
